First off, I just LOVE this piece. Mintcakes was able to make Adrinna recognizable as Adrinna, seemingly inspired by details of her original dress, but create an entirely new design. Just by looking at the image I could be reading a story - the city skyline in the background, the European country girl design of Adrinna. The title also adds to the story and was obviously well thought of. Overall, a breathtaking work.

This piece is fantastic! Can't you just see Adrinna's given bubbly personality shining through? The bright colors and yellow textured background add to the effect making it great. Personally, the hair is my favorite part. Well done!

Very creative! The lights are actually flowers, and her seat is a block as the artist made Adrinna a doll in this piece. Although this was not a writing contest the artist included a fantastic story, which you really didn't even need. Why? Because with amazing talent she was able to portray the entire story with the image and a simple three word title, "What once was." She was also able to create two beautiful dresses for Adrinna based off of the original. My favorite part of this work is the fact that the seemingly mirrored version (although it is a portrait) of Adrinna is not looking at the doll, but away from her, as if not significant enough to draw her attention. This added more to her snobbish behavior the artist had given her. Use of color is fantastic too! Not overly pink, but is colorful just like a nursery should be. Congratulations for the well earned victory!
